About Me

Throughout my life, I had always thought that brushing my teeth three times each day was enough to keep my teeth healthy. While my dentist always encouraged me to floss, I underestimated its importance and skipped it frequently. I soon learned just how important flossing was when I developed gum disease. My dentist told me that flossing daily could have prevented it, because when flossing, you remove stubborn food particles lodged in your gum line that brushing alone often doesn't remove. After that tough lesson, I became dedicated to learning all about dental health and how to get my gums back into good health. Thankfully, my teeth and gums are now healthier than ever, and I decided to create a blog to share what I have learned about dental health on along with tips and tricks for squeezing good dental habits into a busy schedule!
